Our Story

Once upon a time, Zizor originated from a hand tailor. Before this, we customized and modified clothes for residents around the city. Our shop was also deeply loved by a group of people because of our exquisite craftsmanship and superior quality. Over time, my staff and I suffered from various degrees of feet fatigue. So we started to ask ourselves: why can't we live a life with more comfort?

I decided to make a little change in the leather shoes worn in our daily life. After months of research, the inspiration came from my lovely memory foam seat. I thought since the memory foam seat made me so comfortable when I was sitting on it, it definitely can make my feet feel the same way! So I used the memory foam from my precious seat and then imitated the shape of moccasin shoes to create my first pair of slippers.

I couldn’t wait to share these with my staff. When they tried them on, they were stunned and felt unimaginably comfortable. To apply what they said is heaven for their feet. So I made these kind of slippers for them and their families. They all loved the comfort that these brought to life. This was also the beginning of our slippers business. And to express the handmade moccasins style and commemorate our tailor workshop, we named our brand Zigzagger (one type of sewing machine).

But none of the products can be loved by everyone, we also encountered some problems after several months. Some young people said they dislike the ordinary design of our slippers, just too old for them. Then we visited well-known European clothing and shoe designers at that time to add elements of youth and vitality to our products. A new generation of products was born. In order to express our ideas, we named him ZIZOR, one half from Zigzagger and the second half from scissors that symbolized the design.

In the following years, we also launched Wishcotton slippers to satisfy the use of family slippers. But No matter how much time we’ve experienced, there is no change of our original intention that also is the beginning of our slippers business for pursuing a more comfortable life. So just let our slippers hug your feet, and you hug your life!
